Football : Think of Alfred Riedl of Austria PSSI Issues
Alfred Riedl returned to her country Austria on Friday (07/29/2011), today. While in Austria, Riedl will think of some of the options granted PSSI related contract issues. It is said to be former assistant coach of Indonesia, Wolfgang Pikal.
Riedl and PSSI meet on Thursday (28/07/2011) afternoon at The Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place, Jakarta. During the meeting, Riedl given several options. Riedl PSSI hopes will give the answer on today's second meeting at the Sheraton Hotel Soekarno-Hatta airport. However, this meeting did not happen because Riedl did not come.
The Pikal still attend the meeting. "This morning I met at PSSI. Alfred did not participate. Problem first meeting, does not match expectations Alfred," wrote Pikal in a short message to Kompas.com.
"Alfred came home today. For my own this morning talked well as Mr. Vice Chairman, Farid Rahman and Bob Hippy (PSSI Executive Committee members). And, I'll be able to answer from PSSI next Wednesday," said Pikal.
Rumors in the media if Riedl offered a job to train again, or he could also be used as Technical Director. "He again thought of. He went home to think about first. Riedl was fired by the PSSI on July 13 because they are not bound by contract with PSSI, but with the former Chairman of the National Team Nirwan Bakrie. Riedl demanding PSSI to pay compensation for unilateral termination of the term of office was due to new Riedl ended on May 6, 2012. Compensation was estimated at USD 1.5 billion.
If PSSI did not want to pay, can Riedl complained about this to FIFA. On this, Pikal says, "This issue should be asked of him directly. It seems like that," says Pikal.
